Are you thinking about starting an online business or already running one but still searching for that one golden method of making money online? You have probably came across a lot of sponsored ads from social media, namely Facebook, of internet marketing gurus who are promising to change your business life in a very short space of time.  Finding the right strategy can be a pain and a matter of perspective. You need an open mind and a will to learn. And I mean learning even from those you don’t always agree with. There are some things you will need to know before you invest your hard-earned cash in this space. I have been attending free webinars these last 4 months for an observation and it’s been such an eye opener. I have even noticed a trend. To begin with, some of these are now replays from previously recorded seminars. These webinars are now all over the web especially social media and it’s clear to see why. It’s the “smart passive income” method that has worked and still works for a lot of internet marketers. Today I am going to be sharing a review of freedom fast lane webinar I signed up for through a Facebook ad.

Clearly a webinar (and even podcasts) is now the most effective way of making a sales pitch that can make you a sale that same day. I now understand why  “how to make money online” is fast becoming a very competitive and rewarding niche. I am sure you have probably heard about why this is the information age and that’s honestly not further from the truth. There’s now a lot of people who want to quit the 9-5 and have financial freedom on their own terms however, most are still trying to figure this internet thing out. We are now all swamped with too much information that it becomes a pitfall. Just like any other niche that you are going to research (if that’s the stage you are at now), there will come a time when you have to take action and master the art of making a sale on your own trial and error.

If you have funds in your bank account, you might need to consider investing on expects who specialize in specific niches such as this one expect I am going to be sharing about today. (Disclosure: I am not in any way affiliated to him and you will understand why when you read further)  See, you might not have enough time to learn about choosing a domain name that sticks ( One of my favorite topics), creating a website, SEO ( Search engine optimization), picking a profitable niche, social media marketing etc. There’s a lot to learn. How, where and when it starts is going to be your huge challenge.

Now talking of webinars, there’s one I most recently attended to feed my ever wondering mind and it left a long-lasting impression. I mean I just couldn’t forget this guy. I have never heard of him but seems to be popular in the marketing world. He’s affiliated to a powerful domain, Capitalism.com, that is if he doesn’t own it. At the end of his presentation, he sounded like a sales preacher in a business church. I have seen preachers doing it for the sole purpose of filling up the church’s coffers but this guy is seemingly doing it for you, the student. That was quite impressive and I totally believed him when he said his company had coached millionaires and went on to show some video testimonials. It’s just that I didn’t sign up for his course on that “last call”. That’s exactly how he concluded his presentation. “Last call everybody, if you don’t sign up now the  $1997 fee would be double when you come back later.” He kept repeating it like 3 or 4 times. It was like an alter call and guess what? The price didn’t change. It was the same offer on the follow-up email the following day. In truth I was in there to observe and I still just can’t come around to agree with that tactic. Maybe it’s the reason I would love to know Ryan’s perspective before jumping into any conclusions. There’s real businesses out there and he clearly seems to know his value. On the other hand it shows the ugly side of capitalism. the tactics can be questionable at best just to pinch a sale, What a thing to behold.

From what I gathered, if you are a newbie and don’t have a physical product to sell, then this product isn’t for you. If you have heard about FBA ( Fulfillment by Amazon) then this is what it is. Freedom fast lane’s Ryan Moran has to be up there with the most talented venture capitalists I have encountered on the web and I don’t mean that in a bad way. I don’t even know if he’s really one but from what I heard in his webinar, I was convinced he is or maybe on his way to that title. He is a proper sales man who hangs around with big shots, millionaires who have been there, done that, for ages. I have been a fan of James Altucher for a while now and I know he’s the real deal. What fascinates me most about these guys is how they have mastered the art, It’s not often you come across this talent and they run big-ticket investments. That’s their level now.

The Pros of the webinar: I don’t think Ryan is a scam artist. He clearly tells you who his target audience is. It is one of those things he teaches his students to always master. You have to know your audience, demographics etc. On his webinar, he pretty much gives you the base of the business model that can be learnt in detail through his course. He’s selling you an information product that will help push high the sale numbers of your physical products,  that’s fair enough. With business, no matter what shape or form, you will need some capital. Ryan is clear on that one as well. On my personal experience with “cyber capitalism” as I like to call it, not only do you need a laptop and an internet connection, you will also need to have access to a pool of knowledge. One which he’s offering with his network of friends in super high places. That rings investors. The fun part is, you can still find free knowledge all over the web heck you can even find it in the bible but there’s need to invest the time just like you would in a college, a library or church. That can take years. Ryan says he’s your shortcut hence the freedom fast lane title. He promises to deliver in 12 months if you follow every detail all the way.

One golden nugget he  shared was the need for businesses to get reviews for their products as a matter of urgency. He gave so many marketing and advertising tips which most local businesses would struggle to execute if they had no in-house marketing consultants.

The Cons of the Webinar: if you already know a thing or two about internet marketing and have been crawling most of these webinars like myself just to observe and review, you will recognize some of the tactics and depending on your business morals, some will be plain dirty. But that’s the thing with capitalism as I said earlier. What are the limits? It’s a love and hate relationship. They are no limits. It’s just business

There are thousands of different niches and thousands more internet marketers now using the webinar strategy to launch their information products. It’s a rat race. The struggle for web traffic and sales. Never seen anything like it. If you have no clue where to start then you will be an easy target. Be on your guard. It is always a good idea to do some bit of research before diving in, Until then.

I dive into saving tips and domain investing guides. Will be implementing free software for our users to take advantage of. They say things happen for a reason, my "why" is to serve.
